Yung Lean is best known as an internet rapper, with his great influence and slowly growing followers on the world wide web. Starting with a single youtube video of him the Sad Boyz and now in ‘14 he drops his 2nd album, “Unknown Memory.”
"Unknown Memory" is a reflection of a more confident Yung Lean as he develops his lyrical talent and dives into a darker field of music. He’s not as focused on the internet youth culture but rather on the development of his career and life. As a listener of "Unknown Death," it is much of what I excepted out of his new album. He doesn’t forget about where he came from and does continue to have that internet flow as he still references to his so beloved drinks of choice, staying true to his first album. He definitely deserves the hype that he has following him. The Swedish rapper has introduced a new sub-genre in rap music with his alternative out take on his music and style.
I decided to test out a new film camera for his first show in Miami. I’m impressed with the colors of the exposures. I really felt that these vibrant photographs fit the new vibe that comes with “Unknown Memory.”
"Yoshi City" - a single featured in his album where he represents his life style and his ambition for the choices he has made for his success.
"Lean World" - A clear track bases on a loved one.
"Sand Man" - Yung Lean takes a moment and references back to where he comes from, his true friends.
